Pioneering and singular, GREY GOOSE vodka unveils a new creation for the festive season, inspired by the heritage of the brand and its Cellar Master, François Thibault.

The challenge of a visionary and an expert in the secrets of eau de vie production, to create the first French vodka with a single watchword: excellence. Trained in the rigorous elaboration of Cognac, François Thibault selected the noblest raw materials to reveal their subtlety and aromas. Today, this passion is still at the heart of GREY GOOSE VX, which takes its name from “Exceptional Vodka”. A creation launched in France for the end of the year, combining the finesse of GREY GOOSE vodka with the subtle notes of Cognac.

Driven by a passion for its terroir and region, GREY GOOSE has opened Le Logis, a traditional 17th century house, in tribute to the vision of its creator. François Thibault wanted to create a quality vodka with exceptional taste, using the finest French ingredients. GREY GOOSE VX was born in the heart of this renovated mansion, inspired by the history of François Thibault’s native Charente region. It is made from 100% French, simple, noble raw materials such as Blé tendre d’hiver de Picardie, a superior quality wheat used in fine bakery and luxury pastry-making, and pure water from the Gensac-La-Pallue spring, naturally filtered by the limestone rocks. GREY GOOSE then follows a continuous five-stage distillation process specially designed by the Maître de Chai. This know-how and quest for perfection reveal the pure taste, strong personality and elegance of GREY GOOSE. To this exceptional vodka, François Thibault blends a hint of Cognac made from Ugni Blanc grapes to create a fine, floral spirit. GREY GOOSE VX is born. To this special variety is added his world-renowned know-how. He has captured the methods of distillation on lees with a Première Chauffe and then a Bonne Chauffe. Passed through traditional wooden casks, the eau-de-vie then undergoes a “cold filtration” process to reveal a harmonious balance between GREY GOOSE vodka and the aromatic character of Cognac.

His nose

Fine and fruity, with notes of white-fleshed fruit (white peach and fresh pear), apricot and floral notes of jasmine, acacia and iris.

On the palate Rich and delicate, with the sweetness of honey in the background.

Final

Long, supple and generous, it leaves room for the characteristic freshness of the grape.
