On the occasion of the 41st European Heritage Days, Maison Boucheron is exceptionally opening the doors of its historic address at 26, place Vendôme in Paris, from September 20 to 22, 2024. A unique opportunity to plunge into the world of this emblematic jeweler and discover its rich heritage, in perfect harmony with the themes of this year’s event: “Heritage of routes, networks and connections” and “Maritime heritage”.

A Journey through Boucheron History

Founded in 1858 by Frédéric Boucheron, the House quickly established itself as a leading name in fine jewelry, embodying audacity and innovation. The first major jewelry house to set up shop on Place Vendôme in 1893, Boucheron continues to make history with its free-spirited, visionary creations.

An exceptional visit to the Hôtel de Nocé

Built in 1717 and listed as a Monument Historique, the Hôtel de Nocé has been the headquarters of Maison Boucheron since 1893. Completely renovated in 2018, this majestic building is now a sanctuary of jewelry-making savoir-faire, housing the workshops, the Studio de Création, and the historic boutique.

During these exceptional days, visitors will have the opportunity to go behind the scenes of this emblematic building under the expert guidance of the Maison’s Heritage Director. The tour, rich in discoveries, will take you to the library on the fourth floor, where rare items from Boucheron’s private archives will be on display. These treasures, revealed to the public for the first time, offer a fascinating glimpse into the 166-year history of the House.

An Immersion at the Heart of Jewellery Creation

The highlight of the visit will be access to Boucheron’s private apartment, a space usually closed to the public. Here, artisan jewelers, the true guardians of the company’s savoir-faire, will demonstrate their art, sharing their passion and expertise with visitors. These privileged moments will enable visitors to better understand the creative process behind the exceptional pieces for which Boucheron is world-renowned.

Practical information

Visits are free of charge, but registration is required via a dedicated platform to ensure a smooth, personalized experience. This exclusive opening to the general public will be preceded on Friday September 20 by a visit reserved for school groups, an initiative that underlines Boucheron’s commitment to passing on its heritage.

An Ongoing Commitment to Excellence

Boucheron, now a member of the Kering luxury group, remains true to its roots while continuing to innovate. With over 90 points of sale worldwide, the House continues to expand, while preserving the essence of its strength: creative audacity and exceptional craftsmanship, which turn each creation into a timeless work of art.
