Chinese conductor Long Yu and Russian pianist Daniil Trifonov led an international cultural collaboration of artists from the Deutsche Grammophon label in the most important live classical music concert in over thirty years. World-renowned artists shared the power and beauty of classical music in front of 1,200 Chinese and international dignitaries at the Taimiao, Temple of the Imperial Ancestors.
Chopard was honored to partner this exceptional event.
As a family business, Maison Chopard has always been nurtured by the passions of the members of the Scheufele family and by the desire to support noble causes, such as the arts and philanthropy, with which the Maison shares the same values of passion and the creation of emotions. The famous soprano Anna Netrebko and tenor José Carreras – whose Leukemia foundation is supported by Chopard – have been close friends of the Scheufele family and ambassadors of the House for many years, which is also one of the reasons that encouraged Chopard to associate itself with several classical music events around the world.
Caroline Scheufele attended the event accompanied by Chinese director Chen Kaige, his wife, Chinese actress and producer Chen Hong, and Czech model Petra Nemcova, both of whom chose to wear Chopard Haute Joaillerie for the occasion.
