Boucheron at the Met Gala 2026: five personalities, three archives

Boucheron mobilized three collections from its Histoire de Style line to dress five guests. It’s the most deliberately museum-like reading of the Costume Art theme – a house that makes its own archive the answer to a museum’s theme.

Ambassador Daisy Edgar-Jones wears Laurier pendants from the Untamed Nature collection (diamond-paved white gold) with two rings featuring pear-cut and oval diamonds – 5.01 and 5.33 carats respectively. Colman Domingo deploys a more complex ensemble: Serpent Bohème novelties in yellow gold and onyx (not yet on sale at the time of the gala), complemented by a Serpent Bohème Vintage diamond-paved cuff bracelet in yellow gold, the Quatre Clou de Paris, Radiant, Alliance Grosgrain and Facette bands – six pieces, all in yellow gold, an accumulation claimed as a register.

Anja Rubik: Chevron pavé diamant earrings and bracelet in white gold, Médailles ring(The Power of Couture, rock crystal, white gold). Sarah Paulson: the transformable Ruban Diamants piece from the Art Deco collection, worn as a necklace (diamond-paved white gold), Étoile de Paris earrings. Suki Waterhouse: Broderies tiara(The Power of Couture), Mauve bracelet(Untamed Nature), Goutte de Cristal rings (4.1 carats) and two Plume de Paon variants (rose-cut diamonds), Plume de Paon XS earrings.

The transformable Diamond Ribbon piece:

The Art Deco collection in the Histoire de Style line draws its motifs from the ornamental architecture of the 1920s – broken lines, flat geometry, volumes without organic curves. The piece worn by Sarah Paulson is defined as transformable: it can be worn as a necklace, brooch or bracelet, depending on the attachment chosen. This modularity, which stems from an archive project of the Place Vendôme house (founded in 1858), is also a practical response to the evolution of wearing occasions.
