For summer 2026, Bang & Olufsen is introducing a Travel Edit—a selection of audio products designed for every moment of your journey, from the airport lounge to a terrace on the other side of the world.
There is something fundamentally paradoxical about a good pair of headphones: they isolate you from the world in order to connect you to it in a different way. The music you choose and the silence you create become an inner world that you carry with you everywhere. Bang & Olufsen has understood this since 1925, back in Struer, that small Danish village where Peter Bang and Svend Olufsen founded their company with the conviction that sound, just like architecture or design, could be a total aesthetic experience.
For summer 2026, the Danish brand presents its Travel Edit: a selection of four audio devices designed to accompany every stage of the journey. These aren’t just tech gadgets, but companions crafted with the same meticulous attention to detail as any luxury leather goods item.
Beo Grace: where jewelry meets sound
The Beo Grace are wireless earbuds that could just as easily have been displayed in a store window on Rue de la Paix. The Honey Tone color—new for this summer collection—is inspired by fine jewelry: warm golden hues, deep copper tones, and understated brilliance. The Aluminum version, meanwhile, pays homage to the brand’s legendary A8 earbuds—those iconic 1980s models whose distinctive metal stem remains one of the most recognizable shapes in the history of audio design.
Designed to replace the headphones provided in economy class on airplanes, the Beo Grace headphones connect to in-flight entertainment systems while delivering the acoustic precision characteristic of Bang & Olufsen.
Beoplay H100 and Beosound: The Full Spectrum
For travelers who won’t settle for less, the Beoplay H100 is the benchmark on-ear headphone: active, adjustable noise cancellation, refined design, and comfort for long-haul flights. An object that belongs in the same category as fine paper or a quality pen—tools that fade into the background during use, leaving only the essential.
The third-generation Beosound A1 and the Beosound Explore round out the collection with two portable speakers that each have their own distinct character: the compact and elegant A1, perfect for nights at a hotel and afternoons by the pool; the Explore, rugged and adventurous, for those whose journeys take them off the beaten path.
There is something deeply Scandinavian about this approach to travel: unpretentious, with a focus on functionality that doesn’t exclude beauty. Bang & Olufsen doesn’t sell sound. It offers a way to experience the world while on the go.
