Fausto Puglisi unveils a new collection in Milan based on geometric shapes, cut-outs and colors. Fausto Puglisi likes to play with shapes, cuts and colors. It’s no surprise that Emanuel Ungaro also chose him to be its artistic director. For his own line, on show in Milan, he seems to be letting loose a little more… Squares and triangles in black and white, then in orange, permeate everywhere in a total look. The designer adds stone embroidery and sequins. They perforate a few models, from the sleeves of a leather jacket to a slightly flared skirt, adding crystals around the holes. His “lighter” models, such as the mini-skirt with harness straps, the gold jacket, the bathrobe jacket or the draped sheaths at the end with front zipper, are rather welcome to calm things down and demonstrate the designer’s talents in a softer version…
