The Milan fashion shows get off to a flying start with the Gucci show. The Milan fashion shows get off to a flying start with the Gucci show. With Kate Moss and Anna Wintour joking around in the front row, Creative Director Frida Giannini continued her signature themes of seventies spirit and military detailing, adding a touch of the exotic as always. The Spring/Summer 2015 collection is a very good mix. Short dresses – offered in suede, leather, denim, cotton and lace – lace up at the front, and are worn with a small shoulder bag. Denim is king with trousers/skirts – loose-fitting breeches and matching jacket. Buttons and gold brandebourgs are everywhere. Sleeveless vests are adorned with feathers and fur and worn over light dresses, while kimono jackets are becoming next summer’s new must-have.
