designer sent us a humanitarian message with her show: NO WALL WILL STOP US FROM CREATING.
Twenty energetic looks showed where Liselore Frowijn’s bold universe echoed the majesty of the venue. Freedom
can be a powerful tool for independence.
Liselore Frowijn took us on an archaeological journey through Mexico. She evoked the ancestral culture of the Maya, drawing references from nature, buildings and pyramids for their size and decoration.
She used hope as a creative weapon; the printed cactus created in collaboration with graphic designer Michiel Schuurman literally
symbolizes this hope. “The collection is an intensive tribute to the country Mexico. In March this year, I traveled there and met many locals who proudly displayed their traditional arts and crafts. My new collection is an ode to freedom and to Mexico.”
