Dazzling, bewitching, stunningly feminine… Tuberose is the diva of the floral world. A myth in haute parfumerie, its intensely heady fragrance is so assertive that only a virtuoso can tame it.
With ESSENCE N°9 TUBÉREUSE, Francis Kurkdjian set himself a major challenge: to show the radiant face of this imperious flower, without betraying its bewitching olfactory signature. Make the femme fatale smile. Soften her biting green notes. Soften her haughty bearing. Enhance both her luminosity and her voluptuous curves, to pay homage to Elie Saab’s silhouettes.
For this high-precision exercise, as meticulous as the creation of a haute couture dress, it was necessary to rely on an exceptional material. Extracted “to measure” to smooth out any rough edges, Tubéreuse Absolue sourced in India by Francis Kurkdjian allows him to gently sublimate the flower.
ESSENCE N°9 TUBÉREUSE blossoms under the rays of luminous Italian Bergamot. To evoke the spicy accents that distinguish Tuberose from Gardenia, while preserving the roundness he wanted to emphasize, Francis Kurkdjian selected Ceylon Cinnamon bark. A sweet, suave note that exacerbates the creamy richness of this petal-filled composition. At the base, a breath of white musk carries the narcotic, unsettling trail of this exquisite floral flesh.
A luminous ode to the voluptuousness of curves, to exalt the most sensual of flowers.
