In 1616, two Dutch merchants pushed back the boundaries of exploration by discovering Cape Horn, located at the tip of South America on a perilous sea route where the Atlantic and Pacific oceans meet. Now, four centuries later, Rado is launching its vintage Cape Horn collection, the first of which was introduced in the late 1960s, with an innovative twist that reflects the brand’s constant search for new designs and materials.

The HyperChrome 1616 represents the latest example of Rado’s desire to push the boundaries. This timepiece is audacious in both form and function. Its unmistakable 46 mm angular case is available in two versions, black or metallic, both with extra-large leather straps.
