Nadine Merabi Makes Her Paris Fashion Week Debut

The British brand Nadine Merabi has made its debut on the Parisian runways with a collection of 30 looks that push the traditional boundaries of eveningwear. It is built around a vision of contemporary dressing designed for a woman whose daily life is shared between different cities, encounters and stages of life.

The designer has imagined silhouettes founded on the contrast between bold glamour and functionality, structured lines and freedom of movement. From sculptural mini dresses to fluid evening gowns, by way of elongated silhouettes and precisely cut tailoring, the collection revisits the brand’s emblematic codes through new proportions and textures. Fringes, sequins, metallic surfaces and raised floral embellishments bring depth and dynamism to the creations, while underlining the care devoted to the hand-finished details.

Coats and leather occupy an essential place, broadening the brand’s usual aesthetic field. Long coats, bold animal motifs and richly embellished pieces extend the spirit of the evening looks, while leather ensembles and body-skimming cuts combine strength and sensuality. The palette brings together black, liquid gold, deep ruby, champagne and silver, lifted by an electric cobalt blue. Standout pieces include black silhouettes enhanced with golden embroidery, dresses with fluid metallic reflections, intense red creations and long silver gowns with a shimmering radiance.
