In 2018, with L’Immensité, Nouveau Monde, Orage, Sur la Route and Au Hasard, Parfums Louis Vuitton set out to conquer new olfactory territories, dedicated to men, their emotions experienced while traveling, their thirst for adventure and escape.
Today, the collection is enriched by a sixth exceptional composition, imagined by the House’s Master Perfumer, Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, at the heart of his creative workshop in Grasse.

At the heart of light
How do you capture this intense luminosity in a bottle? For Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, this daring challenge was in line with his research into freshness, which he reveals here from a new angle, through a powerful, crystalline composition that is instantly invigorating. To infuse this lively energy, he selects the noblest citrus fruits, without compromise. Calabrian bergamot, mandarin and Sicilian orange burst forth, pierced by a ray of light, and cascade their sun-drenched fragrances. Their exceptional quality gives them an unprecedented power, and they infuse right to the heart of the fragrance.
“Here, freshness is no longer just a starting point, it becomes a major axis, a backbone around which all the other elements are orchestrated and intertwined,” explains Jacques Cavallier Belletrud. Like Tunisian neroli, whose sunny character further enhances the brilliance of the citrus.
Then comes the grandiose impact of contact with a cocktail of spices revealed by a trio of crackling peppers, which cling to the citrus as if to capture its light. As for the combination of Guatemalan cardamom and Indonesian nutmeg, it increases the fragrance’s depth tenfold, giving it an instant vibrancy. A play of contrasts in which the Master Perfumer excels, and in which textures can be discovered right on the skin. For the ultimate touch of sophistication, he selects Java vetiver as his signature essence, here magnified by a unique distillation process. Stripped of its smokiest notes, the material shines in its complexity, exhaling amber facets, but also fresh, zesty grapefruit and damp earth. Vetiver, noble and haughty, moves from shadow to light to complete the dazzling effect. Météore fuses the elements of heaven and earth, unfurling its contemporary elegance without limit.
