A showcase for French oenology, the boutique at 228, rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré (Paris 8th) boasts one of the finest wine collections in the world. On site, Caves de Taillevent director Gaëtan Molette shares his expertise and guides connoisseurs and amateurs alike.
From the great classics to the great up-and-coming estates, this is the benchmark for the art of wine tasting. To open up this art to the general public, Les Caves de Taillevent offer tailor-made tastings led by sommeliers in a private space or the venue of your choice.
Three made-to-measure tastings are offered at between €120 and €200 per person for groups of 6 or more.
- Aperitif tasting: 1h30 to discover three great wines accompanied by appetizers: gougères or taramas.
- Oenological tasting: 3h00 to taste 4 to 5 wines from the top categories, served with a variety of charcuterie, cheese and sweet mignardises platters.
- Cocktail tasting: 3h00 to discover 4 to 5 wines with 9 to 15 sweet and savoury cocktails.
And if you’d like to extend the experience with a wine and food pairing, the gastronomic restaurant Le Taillevent** or the oenological restaurant Les 110 de Taillevent – Paris, welcome you just a stone’s throw from the Caves de Taillevent.
