THE EXHIBITION“REVERSO: TIMELESS SINCE 1931 OPENS ON SUNDAYS FROM NOVEMBER 28, AND OFFERS DISCOVERY WORKSHOPS.

L’Atelier d’Antoine – named after the founder of the Manufacture – offers watch enthusiasts and beginners alike a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of Haute Horlogerie. The discovery workshops offer a rare chance to explore this world through a theoretical as well as practical approach focused on a particular theme. Limited to a maximum of eight participants, each workshop is supervised by an instructor and an expert from the Manufacture Jaeger-LeCoultre.

Specially relocated to Paris for the “Reverso: Timeless since 1931” exhibition, visitors will have the opportunity to treat themselves to a unique adventure.

Participants are invited to register at www.exposition-reverso.com for upcoming workshops:

  • November 25 and 26, 2021
  • December 10 and 11, 2021
  • December 16 and 17, 2021
  • December 18 and 19, 2021

Workshop duration: 1.5 hours – Price: 150€.

The Reverso discovery workshop looks at the birth of the clever swivel case and the watch’s Art Deco style, naturally motivated by the social milieu and cultural changes of the 1930s. The workshop traces the evolution of the Reverso through the decades: a veritable blank canvas for personalization and artistic expression, but also a receptacle for numerous Haute Horlogerie complications and other technical innovations. Participants will also have access to the Reverso archives, with original sketches and patents, as well as numerous documents rarely shown to the public. The workshop concludes with a unique experience, as participants have the opportunity to assemble the case of a Reverso: an arduous task normally reserved for Manufacture Jaeger-LeCoultre craftsmen. The finished case comprises over 50 components, and a Manufacture expert will guide them through this test of patience and dexterity.

The exhibition “Reverso: Timeless since 1931” and the 1931 Café will be open: Tuesday to Sunday until December 24, 2021 at 15 rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, Paris 8e.

The exhibition is free and open to the public
