Throughout its history Camper has always sought to reflect its own vulcanic personality through collaboration with artists, architects and designers: these figures have contributed to the strength not only of the products but also of the sales areas, which, thanks to them, have acquired an active role in communicating the values and image of the market to the customer.
L’allestimento dei negozi ha visto la partecipazione di grandi nomi internazionali quali i fratelli Campana a Londra, i fratelli Bouroullec a Parigi o ancora Konstantin Grcic a Tokyo.
Le ultime edizioni limitate della linea Togeth&r, dedicata espressamente alle collaborazioni con i designer, sono state realizzate “insieme” (together) a figure del calibro di Jaime Hayon, Veronique Branquinho e Bernhard Wilhelm e sono state un grande successo non soltanto nel mondo della moda ma anche del design e dei saloni del settore. I designer sono selezionati per la loro immagine fresca, innovativa e d’aanguardia: queste sono le qualità che è loro richiesto di apportare nelle loro creazioni, e tale è anche la motivazione dietro la scelta di commercializzare i prodotti in serie limitata e soltanto in negozi selezionati.
The collection maschile disegnata da Veronique Branquinho per l’estate 2010 riflette l’eleganza e la sofisticatezza della scuola Belga a cui appartiene la stilista. Tre sono i modelli presentati, ispirati alla classica Derby rivisitata in materiali ricercati nel contrasto pelle/tessuto con tallone piegato. 
The collaboration with Jaime Hayon began in 2008 with a collection presented at the Salone del Mobile in Milan with great success, and is now continuing with the display of shops in London and Barcelona. Color is the key element, and for this season Hayon presents its city version of the evergreen Espadrilla.
Anche per Bernard Wilhelm l’estate 2010 cementa la collaborazione avviata da qualche stagione. The collection is characterized by suole in pneumatico, intrecci, lacci and dettagli for an aspect molto hi-tech.
The new feature of the workshop was the participation of Hella Jongerius in the project: Camper invited the designer to reinterpret four iconic models – Pelotas, Imar, Peu and Brothers. The final result presents impunities, pastel colors, ricami and trafori that reflect all the freshness and the typical giocosità of the work of Hella.
The search for ever-new languages and talents does not close the design doors: Camper has opened its Barcelona Design Center, a creative studio dedicated to promoting new approaches to the market. The center attracts the most important schools of calzatura and product, ready to promote the most significant talents and offer them the participation in workshops and collaborations. Il prodotto che ne risulta è quindi caratterizzato da una forte identità individuale, ai limiti dello sperimentale, con grande espressività e libertà – coerentemente con i valori cuore del marchio.
E mentre intanto aspettiamo trepidanti la stagione ideale per sfoggiare queste collezioni resta vivo l’interesse per quale sarà il nuovo designer a firmare la prossima, imperdibile edizione illimitata Camper Togeth&r.
