An ice cream museum opens in San Francisco

After Los Angeles and New York, San Francisco puts ice cream in the spotlight in a temporary museum
A new museum has just opened in the heart of San Francisco: the Ice Cream Museum. Located in Union Square, in a building that once housed
a bank, it will remain open for 6 months to the delight of young and old alike.
Its creator and artistic director, Maryellis Bunn, a 26-year-old American with a passion for ice cream, set herself a challenge: to design a museum inspired by
modern design in a historic building with unique architecture. The contrast between the bright, acidic colors of the museum and the classic exterior of the building
is striking!
After a successful run in New York and Los Angeles, the San Francisco Ice Cream Museum now boasts new, immersive themed installations, as well as
never-before-seen flavors and fragrances: a magical candy garden, psychedelic unicorns and rainbows, an ice cream pool… A veritable palace of lady
tartine modern version!
The Ice Cream Museum is not a traditional museum, but a cultural and culinary experience. The highlight is the multi-colored vermicelli pool known as “funfetti” in
which you can actually dive into. California’s best ice cream parlors also offer visitors a wide variety of flavors to try, with or without a cone. A museum that will delight the taste buds of the whole family!

The museum is open every day except Tuesday from 11am to 10pm; admission is $38 and free for children under 3. Tickets can only be purchased online at
(no on-site sales available).
