With the Russian Code Meridian, Raketa builds on a simple yet rare concept in watchmaking: making time run against convention.
Raketa unveils a new version of its Russian Code watch, named Meridian. The timepiece retains the principle that makes this line unique: a time display that defies conventional direction. In an industry often bound by repetitive conventions, this shift is enough to establish a truly distinctive perspective.
The dial features a light beige hue, accented with applied hour markers. In the center, a relief image of the Earth is crisscrossed by fine lines representing meridians. The name “Meridian” thus takes on its full meaning: it is not merely a decorative element on the dial, but a reminder that time is also a geographical construct.
