More than just a boutique, “7 Paix”, the new Maison Piaget store, offers an unprecedented luxury experience. Since 1874, the House has cultivated a passion for sharing the Piaget spirit. The symbiosis of haute horlogerie and haute joaillerie.
The location is special because the address is mythical. It was at 7 rue de la Paix that Haute Couture was born, under the scissors of Charles-Frédéric Worth. Opened in 1858, his luxurious salons became the epicenter of fashion. The story continues today with Piaget. The 510 m2 boutique was designed by architect Christine Querlioz of Atelier Sasha.
The “Vitrine Extraordinaire” showcases the new collections in an original way. A sumptuous, stylized chandelier invites visitors to step out onto the open balcony on the second floor. Nearby, the iconic showcase draws the eye, transporting visitors into a world of luxury and elegance.
The beauty of the “7 Paix” is in tune with the Piaget style, whose only limit, since 1957, has been to work only with precious materials. Sober or flamboyant, classic or extravagant, each piece of jewelry is in tune with its era. Like the Possession ring, which echoes the expertise of the jewelers who, for three generations, have worked gold into flowing ribbons, hammering or sculpting it.
In the showcases, a double lateral adjustable light amplifies the sumptuousness of the two major collections presented each year. Piaget’s iconic marquise and “petticoat” cuts are magnified by the most delicate settings, while hard stones make their presence felt, emblematic of the House’s freedom to write.
Pampered during a ceremony specially designed for them, lovers discover the magic of the Mariage collection on the second floor of 7 Paix and the Piaget Passion solitaire, available in a range of carats from 0.3 to infinity.
Finally, along the historic windows, the gallery offers a reception area, ready to host a temporary exhibition, a cocktail party or an intimate dinner party.
