54 years after its opening, Diptyque, the legendary French perfumer, inaugurates its renovated boutique at 34 boulevard Saint-Germain, Paris 5th arrondissement.

Opened in 1961 – the founding date of the Maison – the boutique at 34 boulevard Saint-Germain, the cradle of the brand, reflects its creative, iconoclastic and atypical spirit like no other Diptyque boutique in the world. The challenge was to restore its radiance, elegance, life and freshness, without changing its soul.

Preserving the authentic spirit of the boutique did not prevent some concessions to modernity. The kilim carpets that once littered the floor have been replaced by a plant-patterned carpet, a re-edition of Madeleine Castaing’s collections, and chandeliers custom-designed for diptyque have been placed in the heart of the boutique to provide subtle lighting.

A corner dedicated to the L’Art du Soin line was also created, featuring brass and glass shelves and a marble washbasin whose hue echoes the wall.A clever blend of modernity, freshness and authenticity to preserve the charm of this unique Parisian address.
