In the grandiose setting of the Venetian canals and palaces, Montblanc celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Prix Montblanc de la Culture Arts Patronage, a visionary distinction that has recognized the work and contributions of modern-day patrons since 1992.
For its 25th edition, the Prix Montblanc de la Cultutre is represented by the new presidents of the Montblanc Cultural Foundation for the next three years: Mr Till Fellrath and Mr Sam Bardaouil.

The Italian ceremony marks the kick-off of the 25th anniversary of the Prize, with several other ceremonies planned for the coming months and to be held in 15 countries around the world.
The first ceremony, which took place on April 26, rewarded Giorgio Marconi, the holder of the 2016 Montblanc Culture Prize for Italy.
Under the roof of the Peggy Guggenheim Foundation, the winner received a Montblanc Patron of Art Peggy Guggenheim limited edition fountain pen, encased in his trophy, and a donation of 15,000 euros to the cultural project of his choice.
