Art at the Bristol Bar:

Carte blanche to the Piasa auction house
from april 28 to may 31, 2015
For almost three years, Hôtel Le Bristol Paris, flagship of the Oetker Collection, has been initiating a contemporary art event. Periodically, a new artist is invited to take over the mirror screen in the hotel bar.
So, from April 28, 2015, the mirror of the Bar du Bristol will light up every evening from 5:30 to 7:00 pm, in the light of a work of art and show a selection of artists’ videos specially designed by Timothée Chaillou, director of Piasa’s contemporary art department and Mathieu Mercier, artist, curator and collector.
This unprecedented collaboration between Hôtel Le Bristol Paris and Piasa marks the complicity of two Rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré institutions in the service of contemporary creation.
This event echoes Maison Piasa’s first auction dedicated to limited editions, designed by Mathieu Mercier, on April 29, 2015 at 6pm.
L’Art au Bar du Bristol is also an opportunity to discover the cocktails created by Chef Barman Maxime Hoerth, Meilleur Ouvrier de France 2011, accompanied by a variety of tapas specially designed by three-starred Chef Eric Frelon, and to enjoy an exceptional moment of conviviality in a warm, elegant setting.
