The French Beer Factory: a bar not to be missed

The temple of beer opens its doors in the heart of Paris’s2nd arrondissement. The French Beer Factory, located at 176 rue Montmartre, is the place to be in Paris.

This unique and unusual new concept offers 4 original homemade beers:

– L’adorée de Paris: a light, thirst-quenching blonde with golden highlights

– FBF: a lightly caramelized redhead

– Label de Montmartre: white with the sweetness of wheat and spices

– Le parisian’s PA: the special one, a pure American Pale Ale

This three-storey bar-restaurant plays the authentic PUB card. Red brick walls, wood decorations, leather armchairs and subdued lighting create a warm, friendly atmosphere. It’s a bar that attracts diners for its uniqueness, especially between 5pm and 8pm, with an after-work open-buffet of tapas prepared by the chef.

All beers are brewed in the basement, and the cellar is open to the public. Brewmaster Stéphane Tanguy, a three-time World Beer Cup medalist, offers workshops to tour the cellars and make your own beer.

Prices are very affordable. Count between 5 and 8 euros for a pint. It’s also possible to eat for 10-30 euros. The restaurant places great emphasis on pairing food with beer. All dishes are homemade with fresh produce. A Made In Paris bar well worth the detour.
