The new “Jardin d’Hiver” restaurant at The Westin Paris-Vendôme hotel

Located in the heart of Paris’s 1st arrondissement, a stone’s throw from the Tuileries Gardens and Place Vendôme, The Westin ParisVendôme unveils its “Winter Garden”, a new ephemeral restaurant in the heart of the hotel. Comfortable cushions in colorful fabrics, light linen curtains, Berber rugs, hanging lights and garlands of light, natural materials, weathered wood, plants, flowers and feathers… The hotel’s iconic terrace is adorned with a nomadic, ethnic decor, for a bohemian-chic ambience that invites you to travel and relax in the heart of Paris. Set in the hotel’s patio, the “Winter Garden” is nestled beneath a wooden structure that plays with transparency, keeping you warm while you enjoy the light outside. At dinnertime, when night has fallen, the suspended lights come to life to create a warm, cosy atmosphere. Chef David Réal’s menu reflects his cuisine: simple, gourmet and seasonal. The chef invites you to discover comforting dishes, combining warmth with a few “gypsy” touches of cardamom, chickpea, verbena and saffron. The menu features an assortment of veloutés (pumpkin, cauliflower, mushroom); for starters, scallops are sublimated with lime, duck foie gras with purple figs. To continue, the Chef presents four dishes based on the Sea (salmon, scallops, cod and a fish poke bowl) and four based on the Earth (a veal blanquette, pork, beef and poultry supreme). The sublime creations of pastry chef Florence Lesage, wrap gourmands in a cozy cocoon to face the cold of the capital.
