At the end of 2017, the idyllic and legendary Mauritius establishment will reopen its doors, following an exceptional renovation.
Considered the island’s premier luxury resort, One&Only Le Saint Géran retains all the elements that have made it famous: a sense of intimacy on a private peninsula, a peaceful lagoon, and the kindness and devotion of the resort’s staff.
To meet the expectations of the hotel’s loyal clientele, One&Only Le Saint Géran will be offering a new concept of connecting rooms to enable families to travel together in the best possible conditions.
The ultimate representation of luxury, new suites, all benefiting from a personalized concierge service and breathtaking views, will also be inaugurated. The suites, up to 280m² in size, allow guests to enjoy a large living space.
As usual in all One&Only’s ultra-luxury resorts, particular attention has been paid to detail and quality of design to ensure an unforgettable experience. The décor, conceived as a mirror of the tropical landscape, the white sandy beach and the Indian Ocean, will blend shades of marble, teak and grey. The hotel’s colonial architecture will remain intact, elegantly incorporating traditional Mauritian design.
The lush garden will continue to dazzle guests with its 4,000 palm trees and the island’s exceptional natural flora and fauna. Guests looking for a refreshing change of scenery will be able to bask under the palm trees, or choose to discover the three new pools, including the huge one along the kilometre-long private beach. New relaxation areas, including a lounge, a spa and a fitness center, have also been designed for optimum rejuvenation.
One&Only Le Saint Géran, always renowned for its wide range of cuisines, will now offer indoor dining as well as new concepts including an Asian experience thanks to the new sushi bar.
Finally, One&Only Le saint Géran will unveil private villas for guests wishing to make the hotel their home. Set apart from the hotel, these villas will have their own swimming pool and all kinds of personalized amenities and services so they can enjoy Mauritian life in One&Only style.
