“My Boobs Buddy”: an original and effective collection

“My Boobs Buddy” is the story of Thomas Bossé, who was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s disease at the age of 18 and vowed to do everything in his power to fight the scourge if he recovered. Less than 10 years later and perfectly cured, Thomas Bossé kept his word and in September 2013 created “My Boobs Buddy”, a brand committed to fighting breast cancer with humor.

A former advertising executive, Thomas Bossé combines his creative talent, energy and victory over disease with a profound desire to be of service to others. So he created a line of 100% organic clothing designed to raise awareness among young women as early as possible of the need for screening through self-care.

Thomas Bossé founded “My Boobs Buddy” in response to an observation: breast cancer could be cured in 90% of cases with sufficiently early detection, even though it remains the most deadly form of cancer.

“My Boobs Buddy”, with its deliberately offbeat, jovial tone and humorous messages, encourages young women and young mothers to start screening as early as possible through self-palpation, while familiarizing them with the gestures involved. In no way does “My Boobs Buddy” encourage mammography or other ultrasound examinations. Prevention through self-palpation is the main thrust and raison d’être of “My Boobs Buddy”!

Through its commitment, “My Boobs Buddy” doesn’t forget men, who are more rarely but nonetheless equally affected by breast cancer.

To help finance regular prevention and awareness campaigns, My Boobs Buddy donates 10% of its profits to the Keep a Breast cancer charity, with which it regularly organizes awareness campaigns.

Fashion today is a means of conveying ideas and messages, and “My Boobs Buddy” puts the world of the “Boobsettes” in the spotlight. The brand offers a trendy collection of T-shirts, sweatshirts and tote-bags, each bearing a different message, always tinged with irony or gentle insolence, and illustrating the cinematographic, musical or literary references of our Boobsettes.
