Gale of wind
New collection signed by the French jewelry brand Isabelle Langlois, Coup de Vent unveils a ring model with a beautiful volume, declined, from its launch, in three colorful versions. Sketching a jet of stones magically stopped in its tracks, this explosive creation breaks free from the codes of jewelry in a whirlwind of contemporary audacity.
Mounted on a ring body paved with diamonds or colored sapphires (depending on the model), three claw-set stones seem to bow, creating an elegant movement with their pear shape and different cuts. Briolettées (citrines palmera, amethysts Rose de France) or cabochons (blue topaz), they shine with striking reflections while bringing a dynamic style. Mixing brilliantly the ingenious expertise of the lapidary with the traditional know-how of French jewelry, this ring, present but not invasive, positioning well on the hand, certainly blows a wind of modernity.
Isabelle Langlois, an accomplished designer and gemologist, finds her inspiration more than ever in the emotions provided by the enchanting landscapes that nature can offer here and there. In this case, the idea for the Coup de Vent collection came from an experience he had in the Jura. Being on top of a mountain during a strong wind storm, Isabelle Langlois was tackled to the ground, forced to cling to the rocks to avoid going down the slope. From this feeling of incredible strength was born Coup de Vent, a way of counteracting the frozen state of the stones. Mission accomplished with these sparkling new products of precious femininity.
