Grey Goose Blue Bakery; a somewhat mysterious name for a spirits brand.
This French landmark, with its enchanting aroma of freshly baked bread, has become one of the stars of the Croisette. The Grey Goose brand revisits the artisan baker’s landmark in style. It dons a blue suit in the gardens of the Grand Hôtel de Cannes. A French-style transformation that recalls the very essence of a bakery and a good vodka through its main ingredient, wheat. A fitting name for these two MADE IN FRANCE products.
François Thibault is Grey Goose cellar master at Gensac La Pallue, not far from Cognac. He tells us with passion the story of his brand. This blue bird first flew off to an American dream before returning to flap its wings in the land of its origins, France.
And it’s on the Croisette in Cannes that the brand is having fun pleasing the whole world.
The bluest of vodkas has found a place of choice at the heart of this international meeting place.
Claudio Bedini, Brand Ambassador Grey Goose, is behind the 5 cocktails on the Cannes menu. The mixologist has teamed up with an artisan baker to give the ephemeral venue its full meaning.
Goutron Cherrier offers a bun for every cocktail. Like a Grey Goose cocktail, its deliciously artistic rolls are as much admired as they are tasted.
La Boulangerie Bleue is not only a place to discover French tastes, but also a place to celebrate, where artisans and artists combine their skills. We’d also like to highlight a fine artistic performance by Cécile Cassel, who literally set the evening alight on Sunday, May 18, 2014.
Partly orchestrated by the Parisian agency 1969, the brand’s presence at this 67th festival was a great success.
A dedicated ephemeral venue, but also a high profile among the most sought-after spots on the Croisette. French vodka indulges in the luxury of a Chopard suite at the Hotel Martinez. And it’s on the rooftop of one of Cannes’ most exclusive hotels that the brand invites us to discover a cocktail created especially for the occasion, the Chopard. A base of Grey Goose, a few drops of Saint Germain liqueur, a splash of Martini, the juice of a lemon and pretty foral petals. A marriage of tangy, generous notes for a real breath of fresh air.
The wild goose didn’t hesitate to plunge into international waters either, accompanying seafaring Festival-goers on the Villa Schweppes boat. The more down-to-earth types were able to find the brand on the Patio Canal+, on the Terrasse du Majestic, and at the Petit Bar du Carlton. And the more jet-setting visitors enjoyed a full-scale tasting session in the VIP Room.
The blue bird entertained us day and night.
