For the third year running, Piaget supported the gala evening of the Avec Foundation, chaired by Professor David Khayat. This charity event, which this year celebrated its sixteenth edition, is the occasion for the annual presentation of the awards of the Paris Charter against Cancer. Every year, cancer affects 14,100,000 people and causes 8,200,000 deaths worldwide. In France, 1,000 new cases are diagnosed every day. Initiated 16 years ago by Professor David Khayat, the Charter of Paris against cancer aims to improve the quality of patient care by facilitating access to the care they need and encouraging the dissemination of scientific advances.
