LE VOYAGE EST DANS LE SAC #3
BIRTH OF THE PROJECT
Born in 2016, the “Le voyage est dans la sac” solidarity project was designed to finance vacations for children registered with the Secours populaire de Paris federation:“a bag bought = a child going on vacation“.
It focuses on three key areas: access to vacations, recycling and creation. In addition to enabling children to go on vacation, the project gives a second life to used clothing collected by Secours Populaire. It also raises awareness of solidarity among young students as part of their educational project.
BAG MAKING
For this third edition, a ton of clothing collected by the Paris Federation of Secours Populaire was entrusted to first-year Bachelor stylist students atLISAA (Institut Supérieur des Arts Appliqués) to create 150 original and unique creations in the form of a bag. The bags were imagined and designed from these garments.
BAGS FOR VACATIONS FOR CHILDREN OF THE SECOURS POPULAIRE

- A bag bought for €30 = 1 day’s vacation offered to a Secours Populaire child
- A bag bought for €60 = 2 days vacation offered to a Secours Populaire child
Thanks to this event, 4,100 euros were raised in 2016 and 5,000 euros in 2017. An initiative that has made it possible to offer vacations to around a hundred children.
