The top 5 non-European destinations chosen by the French to combine shopping and vacations are New York, Tokyo, Dubai, Marrakech and Rio de Janeiro. The reasons given for these preferences are mainly the wide range of products (43%), their availability (42%), and their good value for money (40%).
