The FAGUO brand collaborates with musician Keziah Jones. To mark the release of his 6th album, out November 18, 2013. Through an afro-rock universe, an explosive cocktail of rock, funk, afro-beat and electro, the artist introduces us to his alter-ego with the character of “Captain Rugged”, which he interprets on stage. Dressed in his Nigerian superhero costume, Keziah Jones embarks on a much-anticipated tour of France.
Together FAGUO, HRM – a Lagos-based shoe designer – and Keziah Jones have collaborated to bring the Captain Rugged shoes and bag to life. The capsule collection is made from traditional Nigerian ankara fabrics. The shoes and bags will dress Keziah Jones on stage, and will be marketed alongside the 2014 tour.
