Two new floral fragrances will be added to the Diptyque eaux de toilette collection in May.

There are two collections of eaux: the hesperidés, dedicated to citrus fruits, and the florales, which bring to life perfumery’s emblematic flowers. Diptyque has decided to create eau de Lavande and Géranium Odorata.

Eau de Lavande is composed of 3 French lavenders, including Provençal lavender (rarely used because it’s so precious), a few drops of incense and sandalwood, essence du Vaucluse (very floral) and lavandin (which adds romantic notes). Coriander seeds, nutmeg and cinnamon leaves add a spicy touch.

Eau de Geranium Odorata is both masculine and feminine. It’s lively, fresh, dapper and plural. Geranium d’Afrique (from Egypt) and Geranium Bourbon (native to Reunion Island) mingle, revealing lively floral facets for the former and woody accents for the latter. Added to this are bergamot, green cardamom, cedar, tonka beans and pink pepper, creating a beautiful harmony of floral and woody notes.
