The Comité du Faubourg Saint-Honoré Royale’s Illuminations were inaugurated on Thursday November 14, and to mark the occasion we met Teddy Riner, patron of the Imagine Institute, which cares for genetic diseases.
Benjamin Cymerman and Terry Riner interviewed us:
Teddy Riner: “I’d like to thank the Comité du Faubourg Saint-Honoré Royale for helping the Imagine foundation to raise funds and advance research through operations like this. It’s a great thing. This tombola organized with the committee represents over 50,000 euros in prizes. With this money, we’ll be able to pay researchers, finance studies and help all these sick children.
It’s touching to see these children, because they never give up. It makes people like me want to fight for them, to help them and put a smile on their faces, so they don’t have to think about their illness any more.
Very early on, when I was a junior, I discovered children sleeping on cardboard boxes on my travels, so I decided to get involved in helping children. It’s a pleasure to give my image to help.
Benjamin Cymerman: “We’re delighted with this partnership, which has existed for two years. I’d like to thank Teddy Riner, who even shortened his trip to be here, because this cause is close to his heart. We share Teddy’s values of excellence through the Committee and we wanted to give meaning to this event, hence the link with the Imagine Foundation. This Tombola features magnificent prizes donated by the houses, which are entirely dedicated to financing the Foundation”.
The Illuminations of the Comité du Faubourg Saint-Honoré Royale were inaugurated on Thursday November 14 in the presence of :

Mr Teddy Riner, Sponsor of the Imagine Institute,
Mr François Lebel, Mayor of the 8th arrondissement of Paris
Professor Claude Griscelli, President of the Imagine Institute,
Professor Alain Fischer, Director of the Imagine Institute.
Mr Benjamin Cymerman, President of the Comité du Faubourg Saint-Honoré Royale
Audrey Fleurot, Jenifer Bartoli, Frédérique Bel, Sandrine Quétier, Bernard Montiel and Gary Dourdan were also on hand to support the Committee’s Imagine initiative.
Benjamin Cymerman then welcomed his guests for cocktails at L’Eclaireur.
