Mount Gay Rum, the rum that invented rum

Mount Gay Rum was born in the heart of the Caribbean in the 17th century. In 1703, it obtained its official title of ownership, legitimizing its distillation activity, and since then, it has been the oldest and most refined rum brand in the world.
Originating in Barbados, a veritable paradise on earth, its excellence derives from three-hundred years of know-how, from its sugarcane plantations of exceptional quality, and also from the island’s pure
water, naturally filtered by the coral reefs. Today, Mount Gay and its cellar master Allen Smith continue to distill a unique rum and create prestigious references.

A rum that can be enjoyed neat or in cocktails, for all epicureans in search of new flavors. Extra Old is a blend of the finest rums slowly aged in Kentucky oak barrels for 8 to 15 years. Born from the sugar cane and virgin water of Barbados, this exceptional rum is the fruit of a unique, century-old distillation process. The character of the new
