What could be better than false eyelashes for a glamorous look and long, full lashes?
False eyelashes are an essential tool to have (and master) if you want to give yourself a glowing look for a night out, or (if you’re brave enough) every day, like Eva Longoria and J.Lo.

Applying false eyelashes is child’s play, you just need to know a few basic tricks:
First, gently remove the false eyelash bangs from their holder with your flat thumb, sliding the bangs outwards (don’t try to remove them with your fingernails, as they are fragile and could tear or deform).
Apply a light stroke of pencil or dark liner at the base of your lashes, so that your false lashes blend seamlessly with your natural lashes. You can also use an eyelash curler, so your curled lashes blend in better with the false lashes.
Take the time to look at the direction of your false eyelashes before applying glue to them, because although it may seem obvious, it’s very easy to get the direction wrong, and once the false eyelash has been glued on upside down, the “catch-up” operation will be more complicated.
Apply a very thin layer of glue to your false lashes (you can use a toothpick to spread the glue very lightly and, above all, evenly).
Wait a few seconds before applying your false eyelash, as the glue (like a paste) needs a little time to “set”. If you apply your false eyelash directly after coating it with glue, it may not stick and the glue will smudge on your eyelids.
Then place your false lash fringe as close as possible to your natural lashes. A final coat of mascara will hide the demarcation between your lashes and your false lashes.
Today, there are all kinds of false eyelashes, from the most discreet to the most extravagant, and between glittery, rhinestoned, frosted, feathered, pearled… my heart sways!

Test 3 pairs of Peggy Sage glam false eyelashes
To get the false lash test off to a gentle start, I chose a pair of false lashes with the evocative name “Regard de Braise” by Peggy Sage. With these long lashes, the look gains in intensity, yet the result remains fairly soft, making this pair of false lashes easily wearable.

Precious Diamond by Peggy Sage
For the ultimate in sparkling eyes, I’d also like you to discover the “Precious Diamonds” rhinestone false lashes. With the eyes open, the rhinestones are discreet, but once the eye is closed, you can see the rhinestones sparkling all along the lashes. The result is truly sublime in the light, as the diamonds create reflections. These false lashes are perfect for evening wear.
