Burberry make-up, the test!

A few months ago, the House of Burberry announced the launch of its first make-up collection: Burberry Beauty.

Fans of the famous English brand have been waiting impatiently to discover these new products.

Christopher Bailey, Burberry’s artistic director, wanted this collection to reflect the natural, relaxed feel of the brand’s iconic trench coat.

So we won’t be finding any garish colors at Burberry Beauty. The emphasis is on nude make-up, with a palette of shades as natural as they aretimeless. The collection is therefore suitable for women of all ages, since Christopher Bailey’s aim was to enhance women’s natural beauty .

Test of 3 Burberry Beauty products:

– liquid foundation

– powder

– lipstick

Lip Cover: satin lipstick (28 euros):

The lipstick comes in a beige box with a very classic look.

As for the tube, it immediately plunges us into a world of luxury, as it is silvered and shiny like a mirror. What’s more, the tube’s closure is magnetized for easy closing – another pleasing little detail that shows Burberry has left nothing to chance. The brand’s famous tartan print then appears on the lipstick, so the brand has paid attention to every detail to make its products as aesthetically pleasing as possible.

Burberry’s Union Red lipstick shade is one of the least discreet in this nude-oriented collection. The product is comfortable to wear and, above all, keeps lips well moisturized.

It dries quickly on the lips and doesn’t smudge, so you don’t feel like you’re wearing lipstick, which is very pleasant.

Sheer Foundation (41 euros):

Like Burberry lipstick, its texture blends perfectly with the skin for a natural result. Concentrated in silicones, it reflects light and blurs imperfections (like HD foundations from Make Up Forever or Revlon). It is very long-lasting and available for both normal and dry skin. For very fair skin with a tendency to pink (and which blushes very easily in cold weather), we recommend choosing a shade in beige tones tending towards “yellow”, so as not to accentuate the pinkish side of the skin (Burberry shade 04, for example).

Sheer Foundation compact powder(44 euros) :

This is a “new generation” powder, as it contains plant-based amino acids that have the particularity of softening the skin. This formula also refines the skin’s texture, giving the impression of clearer skin. This powder is particularly well-suited to oily skin, as it keeps the complexion matte for a really long time (with this powder, I only touched up my complexion once at the end of the day, whereas I usually do it three times).

In terms of packaging, this compact is truly sublime (for me, it’s the most beautiful object in this collection). It’s presented in black suede with the brand’s prints, like a precious object. Its shiny mirrored front makes you want to take it out to check your make-up regularly.

This first make-up collection looks very promising for Burberry.

The very elegant packaging and the quality of the products justify their price in my opinion, and testify to the brand’s expertise.

Just for the pleasure of your eyes, you can treat yourself to a luxury make-up product from Burberry.
