AHKAH Celebrates Spring with Suspended Jewelry

Some pieces of jewelry adorn, while others seem to float. At AHKAH, Spring 2026 promises to be a season of radiance—not through excess, but through that precise, almost silent light that emerges when gold, platinum, and diamonds find their perfect balance. The Japanese brand unveils a new collection designed by its creative director, Katie Hillier, available starting Friday, April 17, 2026, at official AHKAH boutiques, Le Bon Marché, Printemps, La Samaritaine, and the official online store.

Titled “elements floating,” this new collection expands on the “elements” universe, giving it a more ethereal, sculptural quality. The jewelry is designed with volume and relief in mind: lines intersect, shapes interact, and layered elements create an intimate architecture that sits close to the body. A platinum band set with diamonds harmonizes with two yellow gold bands featuring contrasting lines. The ensemble evokes not so much a motif as a movement: a suspended silhouette, traced by light with every gesture.

Here, AHKAH cultivates a contemporary vision of jewelry that rejects the rigidity of status symbols. The sparkle isn’t confined to the front; it flows. It hugs the ear, frames the neck, and accentuates the hand. The pieces seem designed to live in the moment, to capture the subtlest shifts in a posture, the tilt of the head, or the light of late afternoon. There is something very contemporary about this approach: jewelry that is precious, yet not ceremonial; sophisticated, yet never static.

A signature piece of this new chapter, the “Radiant Chandelier” single earring makes a unique statement. Crafted in 18-karat yellow gold and diamonds, it wraps around the ear in a luminous circle composed of 207 VVS-quality diamonds. The design is bold without being ostentatious. The piece does not merely seek to sparkle; it redefines the contours of the face, gives structure to the light, and transforms the ear into a focal point of graphic tension.

The visuals in the feature emphasize this idea of beauty in motion. On the first page, the “radiant chandelier” single earring is shown worn as a delicate, almost organic structure around the ear. On the second page, the ensembles combine the “elements floating grand” single earring, a necklace, a ring, and an ear clip, all crafted in 18-karat yellow gold, platinum, and diamonds. The models’ looks are understated: neutral clothing, glowing skin, sleek hair, and jewelry arranged with delicate tension. Nothing distracts from the design. Everything draws the eye back to the lines, the balance, and the way the metal seems to breathe around the body.

The collection includes, among other pieces, the “elements floating grand” single earring, sold individually; the “elements floating” necklace; the “elements floating” ring—whose price varies by size—as well as the “elements floating” ear clip. This selection of pieces reflects a contemporary approach to jewelry design—one that is freer and more versatile, where you can create your own look through asymmetry, subtle layering, or a single statement piece. The single earring, in particular, perfectly embodies this evolution: it is no longer a simple accessory, but a stylistic statement.

Katie Hillier’s artistic vision is reflected in this tension between modernity and naturalness. Born in Great Britain and trained in fashion at the University of Westminster, she built her career as a designer and then creative director at several luxury houses before being named creative director of AHKAH in July 2020. Based in both London and New York, she creates sophisticated designs in which graphic precision never overshadows the comfort of the wear.

With “elements floating,” AHKAH showcases jewelry that embodies a sense of structured lightness. The term may seem paradoxical, but it precisely captures the spirit of this collection: technically sophisticated pieces crafted from precious materials, yet designed to convey a sense of weightlessness. Platinum lends its coolness, yellow gold its warmth, and diamonds their intensity. Together, they create a symphony of contrasts—less decorative than architectural.

This spring, the brand promises more than just new jewelry. It offers a new way to wear light: closer to the skin, freer, more contemporary. Jewelry that doesn’t seek to impose brilliance, but to bring it out.
