THE COUTURE METAMORPHOSIS
AUTUMN WINTER 2020 / 2021 COLLECTION
MOON BEAUTIES
La Métamorphose’s new collection explores the hidden, mysterious nature of women and is inspired by the “Balsamic Moon”, that suspended moment in the cycle that corresponds to dreamtime. It is synonymous with the origin of the world in Australian aboriginal culture.
The “Balsamic Moon” is the moon of prophets and prophetesses, and has the power to stimulate the imagination. It reveals a particular vision of the cycle to come. This visionary phase requires us to open up the channels of the mind and its limits to allow a new creation to emerge. The latter relies on the power of surrender to the universe, whose dream emerges from the obscure in sketches, outlines and sketches, defining the contours of new possibilities.
The designers, deeply attached to French culture, chose the Château Royal d’Amboise as the setting for their collection. 15 silhouettes play with the transparency and lightness of pearl-embroidered tulle, and the fluidity of silk, chiffon and lace. The shimmering caress of the velvet of a high-waisted tuxedo suit, sprinkled with sequins and sequins… Embroidered masks reveal smiles with tinted lips, as a reminder, if one were needed, of our very special times.
All fabrics are “Made in France”, and part of the collection was produced in French workshops.
