In the heart of Paris’s 15th arrondissement, the new Beaugrenelle shopping center is attracting a large number of retailers and restaurateurs. In January, the chic restaurant Eclectic opened its doors.

This restaurant was designed by Fabienne and Philippe Amzalak. Their career in the restaurant business began in 1986. They have worked for some of the great names in gastronomy, including Fouquet’s. In 2006, the couple set up on their own, taking over the reins of Le Bon. They are also responsible for “Ma Cocote” in Saint Ouen.

The 500m2 Eclectic was designed by Tom Nixon. This is the British architect’s first French project. After 10 years as artistic director of Habitat, he launched his own architectural practice in 2002: Desing Research Studio. Specializing in high-end products, Tom Dixon brings a non-conformist, industrial approach to interior design, with an eccentric British touch.

The decor is inspired by 70s architecture in the style of Le Corbusier. Tom Dixon reinvents the codes of the brasserie, blending Parisian chic with British eccentricity. The decor is warm and elegant. The room is divided into several areas: the kitchen, the central restaurant and a lounge area. The lighting creates an intimate atmosphere throughout the 500m2 space.

On the menu, elaborate proposals reinvent brasserie classics with a contemporary twist. There’s a wide variety of choices to choose from, whether for a quick bite or a gourmet meal, French or international. A perfect restaurant for business dinners or after work after a good shopping session.
