With La Donna Atelier, the Roman house extends its Su Misura project dedicated to women and introduces leather into a wardrobe hitherto dominated by the tailoring tradition.
On the occasion of the Milan Women’s Fashion Week, the house Brioni presented its La Donna Atelier Spring-Summer 2027 collection on Wednesday 23 September 2026. Elegance, couture excellence and the house’s heritage are reinterpreted there with a contemporary eye, in the service of a sophistication that Brioni describes as natural rather than demonstrative.
At the heart of this collection is La Donna Atelier, Brioni’s Su Misura project dedicated to women, which offers a personalised expression of the collection through a wide choice of fabrics and details. Inspired by a genuine art of living, each piece fits naturally into a woman’s wardrobe while expressing her personality, femininity and individuality. With La Donna Atelier, clients can personalise fabrics, linings, buttons and monogrammed details, shaping a Brioni wardrobe that reflects their personal style — a principle of bespoke directly inherited from the house’s historic know-how for men, transposed here into the women’s universe.
Deeply tied to Brioni’s heritage, Rome continues to inspire the collection through its vibrant beauty, its precise sense of elegance, its whites of intense tonalities, its shades of blue, Roman red and touches of orange. The colour palette is enriched by shimmering silks with delicate metallic reflections. For Spring-Summer 2027, new proportions and constructions, combining structure, lightness and ease, advance the house’s tailoring know-how.
The introduction of leather into the women’s wardrobe is also noted: suede and nubuck bring a more textured and contemporary dimension to a structured Jardigan and to a safari-inspired jacket. The permanent dialogue between Brioni’s men’s and women’s collections, founded on excellence in tailoring and attention to detail, puts forward the Jardigan, an emblematic men’s piece launched in 1955: its hybrid character brings a fresh look at power dressing, tinged with lightness and ease.
Finally, the evening looks showcase exceptional know-how through refined embroidery and crystal appliqués made by the tailor-artisans of the Atelier Brioni. This expertise is expressed, for example, in a white jacket with a fully embroidered foliage motif — a piece that sums up, on its own, the tension the collection seeks between tailoring rigour inherited from the men’s wardrobe and the freedom of execution proper to haute couture.
