The Aquaracer Professional 300 is an ergonomic mechanical watch that will make history, because it’s ready for the extreme. Designed for work and pleasure, but also for nature’s most intense challenges, it embodies the intrepid, avant-garde spirit of TAG Heuer.
With its striking, instantly recognizable aesthetics thanks to its famous twelve-faceted bezel and high performance, it is eminently contemporary and recalls a history begun by TAG Heuer 40 years earlier. It all began in 1978 with the Heuer Ref. 844. This diver’s watch featured a memorable dial with a red 24-hour scale, Super-LumiNova®-coated hour markers and a rotating bezel with ultra-visible minute scale for reliable underwater timekeeping. Now the reliable diver’s watch par excellence, it was quickly adopted by professional and recreational divers worldwide.
Over the next four decades, TAG Heuer took the design and performance of its diving watches even further, with flagship models such as the Night Diver and the 1000 and 2000 series. The Ref. 844 has become a collector’s favorite.
