Bombay Sapphire Gin Workshop, a delicious moment

The famous Bombay Sapphire gin brand and the iconic Hôtel Fouquet’s Barrière have teamed up to create the first ephemeral Gin & Tonic bar. We were able to preview the delicious experience at Marta Le Bar, 46 avenue George V in the 8th arrondissement.

From the moment we entered the bar, we were captivated by the Marta Bar’s chic decor, accessorized by the Bombay Sapphire brand of gin. Nothing is left to chance, and every detail has been thought out to take us on a journey, like these 10 exotic spices (Lemon zest from Spain, Juniper berries from Italy, Coriander seeds from Morocco, Blackcurrant bark from Indochina, Seeds of paradise from Africa, Angelica roots from Saxony, Licorice from China, Almonds from Spain, Cube berries from Java, Iris roots from Italy) on display at the entrance, bearing witness to the authenticity of the recipe developed by the famous gin brand.

A nectar sublimated during this workshop thanks to Stéphane Ginouvès, Meilleur Ouvrier de France 2011 and1st Barman at the Hôtel Fouquet’s Barrière. Stéphane taught us to differentiate between the flavors in our DNA (acidulous, acid, sweet, …), to use his own words. Stéphane won us over with his kindness, his expertise in mixology and his ability to delicately marry Bombay Sapphire.

If you too would like to enjoy this experience, you’ll be able to taste “The Ultimate Gin & Tonic” based on three expressions: Bombay Dry, Bombay Sapphire and Bombay Sapphire East, accompanied by original tonics. You’ll also be able to discover Stéphane’s original creation, Far East, made with fresh pineapple, pepper, coriander and Bombay Sapphire of course… But we don’t want to divulge all these secrets, so we’ll leave it to you to discover which Bombay Sapphire Stéphane has chosen in his composition.

You can also discover Bombay Sapphire during 2 evenings on December 18 and 29 from 7pm. During these 2 evenings, Bombay Sapphire cocktails will be accompanied by a surprising taste experience based on 2 dishes during a live cooking workshop, all topped off with DJ entertainment.
