Andrea Crews presents her : RADICAL REBELLE .
Rebellious Radical is a celebration of 18 years of commitment to upcycling and environmental environmental and social awareness. It is also the embodiment of a generation generation. Young people who aspire to a return to simple, benevolent values, well-being for all and the sustainability of the planet.
The collection, made up of jeans with activist messages and T-shirts with ornamental cut-outs and reliefs, between decoration and decomposition sculptural upcycling. Second-hand jeans become activist banners featuring silkscreens of idols such as Andrea Crews, Yayoi Kusama and Christane Taubira, alongside slogans such as Fashion Revolution and Utopia. T-shirts with animal prints have been torn, effilés then braided using several vintage DIY techniques. The raw material for this collection comes from associative recycling centers, unsold lingerie as well as vintage pieces from the 80s.
The collection echoes Édouard Manet’s Déjeuner sur l’herbe, bringing together nudity and clothing, lace and denim, outerwear and underwear.
