Brand history
Chara. Wen continually pushes the boundaries of creation and craftsmanship to produce unique pieces combining precious stones and unconventional materials. Each jewel, each watch expresses an aesthetic and intellectual vitality that knows how to break free from tradition.
In Greek, “Chara” means “joy”. Wen Wan Xin, the brand’s founder and artistic director, draws much of her joy and creative inspiration from her daughter Krystal. In fact, all Chara. Wen jewels feature a heart-shaped Burmese ruby, initially a symbol of Wen Wan Xin’s love for her daughter, which has become the Chara. Wen.

- Fashion Muse: The pieces in the “Fashion Muse” collection draw their inspiration from Haute Couture fashion. The refined details of the garments – pleats, ruffles, feathers, tweed and the textures of different fabrics – are expressed in each jewel and watch through the use of bold, animated sculptural forms.
