Armance, a pure “creator” at heart, dreamy and inventive, had the crazy idea of creating a brand that would bring a little Haute-Couture to everyday life.
“We all want to be exceptional in pieces that fit us well and adapt to our chameleon-like lives,” confides the young designer.
Talented and a recent graduate of the chambre syndicale de la Couture parisienneArmance specializes in the creation of fabrics for top designers such as Christian Lacroix, Sonial Rykiel and Barbara Bui.
For two years, prototypes and patterns pile up in her workshop. Armance experimented with cuts and materials, in search of the style and spirit of her brand.
She finally chose to apply her Haute-Couture know-how to four jackets, available in as many materials and colors as our desires and needs demand.
“I wanted to create jackets with highly studied cuts that were both elegant and casual. Jackets that forget themselves in order to highlight the woman.”
Attached to MADE IN FRANCE, the designer loves the idea of contributing in her own small way to keeping Parisian know-how alive. Her jackets are designed in her workshop in the 15th arrondissement of Paris and sewn in the 10th.
Her leathers come from Mazamet, a small town in the south of France, known for the beauty of the leathers it jealously produces.
