The Glenlivet Scottish Single Malt has unveiled a new expression: The Glenlivet Nàdurra Peated, which completes the Nàdurra range launched last October with Oloroso.

Nàdurra means “Natural” in Gaelic.
Following in the footsteps of the Nàdurra range, Peated is crafted using traditional production methods dating back to the 19th century: the whiskies are un-chill-filtered and cask-aged. The result is a whisky of exceptional intensity and complexity.
Each profile in the Nàdurra range owes its specificity to the type of casks used in the ageing process. While Oloroso is aged in sherry casks, First Fill Selection is matured in first-fill American white oak casks, Peated is refined in casks that have previously contained peated whisky. The aromatic profile of the new The Glenlivet expression features smoky notes complemented by sweet, fruity aromas, the signature of The Glenlivet distillery.
Robe: Golden amber
Nose: Sweet notes of red apples, lemon zest complemented by smoky
Taste: aromas of tangy marmalade, creamy vanilla caramel and a distinct
smoky flavor
Finish: complex, slow and spicy with a subtle smoky touch
Nàdurra Peated is sold as a limited edition in wine and delicatessen stores.
