A few weeks ago, we were invited by Ruinart to experience an exceptional moment. On July 4, the Ruinart chalk pits were listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. To celebrate this great news, the world’s oldest Champagne house invited London’s Royal Opera House to its chalk pits.
An absolutely magical moment of exceptional poetry in the company of Frédéric Dufour, President of Maison Ruinart. This was followed by an upside-down gastronomic dinner, where trompe-l’oeil dishes delighted our taste buds, accompanied by marvelous grands crus.
