For Christmas 2017, Lyon-based master glassmaker Vincent Breed has created an ornament for Maison diptyque to hang on the Christmas tree: a glass ball with iridescent and solar effects (diameter: 8.3cm).
Each object is handmade, like the candle holders, and features asperities that give the decoration a unique character.
In half-light, daylight or the reflection of a garland, the glass sphere takes on the glow of an open fire.
