Marc Jacobs Beauty presents its new 2018 face, model and activist Adwoa Aboah, who will appear in the first campaigns at the end of 2017. The first official campaign in collaboration with Adwoah Aboah was shot by photographer David Sims, art director Katie Grand, makeup artist Diane Kendal, hairstylist Guido Palau and manicurist Jin Soon Choi.
In this image, Adwoa wears the latest Marc Jacobs Beauty product, unveiling the first part of the Spring 2018 collection, Le Marc Liquid Lip Crayon in How Rouge! shade, which will be on sale at sephora.fr during December. This product offers a new form of liquid lipstick: the very first liquid lipstick pencil that delivers intense color in one application, while allowing controlled, precise application to outline and color lips with ease. The innovative “ghost pearl” texture delicately illuminates to give lips dimension and long-lasting hold never before seen in classic lipsticks.
“Marc gave me my very first fashion show in New York. It was a dream come true and since that day, he has been one of my biggest supporters. I’m very excited to be the new face of Marc Jacobs Beauty, and working alongside Marc again is very inspirational. His attention to detail is like no other and you can see his project come to life instantly.” – Adwoa Aboah
Adwoa joins such iconic women as Jessica Lange, Edie Campbell, Winona Ryder, Aya Jones and Kaia Gerber, previously and/or still muse of the brand.
Le Marc Liquid Lip Crayon will be launched as a mid-December preview on sephora.fr and in Sephora stores in early 2018.
