Parfums Caron recently launched the Collection Privée Caron, a re-edition of 11 of its fragrances in tribute to the perfumers who have marked the history of the brand founded in 1904 by Ernest Daltroff.

Ernest Daltroff’s legacy

1904, Ernest Daltroff wrote the first lines in the history of Maison Caron. Intuitive, a great traveler and passionate about essences and flowers, he celebrated the beauty and complexity of nature in his exotic compositions, placing the rose, his favorite flower, at the heart of his creations. A state of mind that has remained unchanged over the decades and through the company’s perfumers.

As guardians of this olfactory heritage, a skilful blend of audacity and savoir-faire, Caron boutiques have always had the mission of guarding this sensory heritage and satisfying the requests of certain enthusiasts, eager to rediscover the much-loved fragrance.

Reissue of 11 fragrances that made the history of the House

Whether emblematic fragrances or more confidential, these olfactory treasures are now reissued and revealed in a permanent collection that pays tribute to the House’s perfumers: the Collection Privée Caron.

For this private collection, Maison Caron returns to its DNA and draws inspiration from the Art Deco world of the Roaring Twenties. Curves and straight lines, gold, black and white, embossing and stamping intermingle, revealing the full richness of the case. The Monument bottle, emblematic of this dynamic, modern era, is adorned with a black cap, sublimated by hot stamping and gold thread, synonymous with mastery and expertise, echoing an ancestral technique still practiced in our Paris workshops: baudruchage and crimping.

11 references are offered for the launch of the Caron Private Collection: Violette Précieuse (1913), Narcisse Banc (1923), Acaciosa (1924), French Cancan (1936), Farnesiana (1947), Or et Noir (1949), Rose (1949), Montaigne (1986), Pour une Femme (2001), Tubéreuse (2003), Secret Oud (2011).
